What's the Point, Pyramid, Obelisk, Wand?
Crystal Points
Crystal points are powerful tools for clarifying and focusing intention. In addition to their individual properties, crystal points are often used for healing, space-clearing and to move energy.
Points come in many forms, some natural and others shaped, defined or polished. All points are useful, although some people feel natural points are more effective energy movers, as the striations of the crystal lie naturally in the desired direction.
Wands
Crystal wands in particular can sharply focus energy, and they are traditional tools of healers around the globe. They can be used for healing and balancing chakras, removing energy blockages and fortifying auras. Healers channel energy through themselves via the wand, rather than depleting their own energy.
Double Terminated
Judy Hall’s 'Crystal Bible' teaches that crystals with points (also called terminations) at both ends are thought to help break old patterns, and integrate spirit and matter. Double-terminated wands are popular with healers. They can promote balance, and create a ‘bridge’ between energy zones. Double terminations are a wonderful example of giving and receiving energy.
Obelisk
The straight, tower-like obelisk crystal amplifies energy and focuses it out through the apex, or top of the point. Obelisk crystals can be used to dissolve negative energy, making them useful for locations like the workplace, or any room where there may be stress or conflict.
Pyramid
Considered a power shape, pyramid crystals allow you to focus your energies from the base through the apex. The base of the pyramid provides very strong grounding influence, and pyramid crystals can fend off negative energy.
