We'd Love Your Support
We’d Love Your Support
You’ve probably noticed we’ve started sending regular emails—and Viv and I truly hope they don’t feel spammy. That’s never our intention. We’re not into the hard sell (and many of you have told us that’s one of the things you love about shopping at Inspire Me—no pressure, just beautiful things).
But the reality is: we need to generate more sales to survive. That’s not an exaggeration. We keep hoping the economy will improve, but it’s clear that small businesses like ours can’t afford to wait—we have to take action ourselves and try new things.
Why Email?
We’ve learned that direct email marketing is still one of the most effective ways to reach customers. Honestly, we were surprised too! While we’ve always been active on Facebook (and to a lesser extent Instagram), our reach has dropped significantly over the past couple of years. Many other small businesses are experiencing the same thing.
We even dabbled in TikTok, but it’s incredibly time-consuming—and with our tiny team, it’s now just my fun-time scroll at the end of the day 😊
What We’re Doing
Here’s our new approach:
- Fortnightly emails to our full customer base, usually showcasing new arrivals (but may also include blog-like articles like this week’s email explaining why we’re emailing more often).
- Alternate fortnight emails to smaller groups, featuring specials campaigns—also shared on social media.
- Daily posts on Facebook and Instagram, keeping you updated with new products, inspiration, and behind-the-scenes moments.
How You Can Help
If you’d like to support us, here are a few simple ways that make a big difference:
- Please don’t unsubscribe (unless you’re no longer interested, of course).
- Gmail users: Check your Promotions folder—our emails often land there. You can drag one into your Primary tab and click “Yes” to keep future emails there.
- Facebook followers: Liking and commenting on our posts helps ensure you keep seeing them. Sharing posts is even more powerful—it helps grow our beautiful community.
- Instagram friends: A quick like or comment goes a long way too!
Thank you so much for reading this far. Asking for help isn’t easy—it feels vulnerable—but we’re so grateful for your support. You’re the heart of Inspire Me, and we truly couldn’t do this without you.
I opened Inspire Me almost 16 years ago, and I’m truly Blessed to be able to say I love it as much today as I did 16 years ago. In fact, I love it more, and I love that we’re still relevant in today’s world, at least that’s what people tell us, pretty much every day.
Namaste,
Michelle & the Inspire Me Earth Angels 🌸
