What a lovely day…

It started at about 5am as I made myself a coffee and finished creating a little system for keeping track of who wants one of the diaries we’re giving away. Then I began replying to the first 44 comments of all the lovely people saying they would love one of the diaries, and I can’t tell you how much pleasure it gives me to be able to do that, thanks to Mike and Steven from Akasha Books. 😊

Then Peter and Archie and I headed off to Bledisloe Park for a walk. At 16 years of age, he’s still pretty frisky, although walks are really more about the sniffs and socialising than exercise. We ran into a lovely woman and her dog Lucas, who Archie decided was just the best, and trailed behind him the whole way. Neither dog are swimmers, but they loved the opportunity to lay in the water and cool down a bit.

Then we dropped Archie at home and enjoyed a lovely lunch at MUNCH, thanks to a voucher my wonderful team gave us for Christmas. If you haven’t tried their GARLIC BREAD, it’s different and DIVINE. 😊

After our yummy lunch we headed home with pleasantly full bellies, and Peter decided to take a nanna nap on our bed, while I lay on the couch outside flicking through tiktok. I fell asleep watching clips of Americans saying goodbye after the US supreme court upheld the ban on tiktok.

I woke to see Archie laying on the floor at his favourite crossroad, where he can keep an eye on both exits from the house, so we couldn’t sneak out without him again. 😎

As I type this, he’s yelling at me to get in the kitchen and prepare his dinner. He really is the BOSS at home and the shop.😊

Namaste

Michelle
