Two Statements That Will Serve You Very Well...
If you know me, you know I’m very much into the Law of Attraction and the Teachings of Abraham. I receive emails from them each morning and todays really resonated with me.
"TWO STATEMENTS THAT WILL SERVE YOU VERY WELL…
The First is:
There will always be war.
There will always be those who aggravate within others a sense of trouble in order to promote the solution that they already have their mind made up about.
And so, you’re never going to come into agreement as a mass consciousness that this is “the way.” There will always be disagreements; therefore, there will always be turmoil; there will always be war.
The Other Statement, that is our favourite:
Well-Being will always abound, so the dominant experience of the majority of people will always be one of Well-Being.
So you can decide, at any point in time, in what part of this you want to play.
You can use anything as your excuse to align with Well-being.
Or you can use anything as your excuse to not align.
The thing that we think is at the heart of this discussion is MY OWN PERSONAL POWER. We think that’s what you are, sort of, struggling for and reaching for."
So, I can’t control the first, but I can sure as hell control the second. I’m a pretty powerful manifester and I manifest lots of wonderful things in my life.
And when I say I can control the second, that doesn’t mean I’m in control all the time, because of course I’m not. Sometimes I unwittingly slip into that ‘poor me pity party’ and manifest a bunch of shit I really don’t want in my life. And sometimes it’s not so unwitting, and I do it because for a moment it feels bloody satisfying.
I’m getting better and better at catching myself, at which point I have to make a conscious decision “Am I going to continue manifesting this shit?” or “Am I going to distract myself by thinking about some of the things in my life that are going really well, and turn my day around?”
I mean it seems like a real ‘no brainer’ doesn’t it. I sometimes ask myself “So why, after 14 years of doing my best to live my life by The Law of Attraction, am I still not there yet?”
And then I remember…
I’m a work in progress and will be until the day I draw my last breath (at least in this lifetime), and part of that progress is not judging or measuring myself against anyone else, or worse, my own sometimes ridiculous expectations.
