Below is a guide to get started, however feel at ease to do what works best for you.

Smoke Clearing is an ancient practice of cleansing; it removes stagnant, unhelpful energy allowing space for you find balance, gratitude and calm. Smoke Clearing can be a potent ritual and should be done with care, reverence and an attitude of love and respect for Mother Nature. It is important that all smoke wands are organic, spray free and sourced ethically to ensure the balance of nature is upheld. 

1)     Be mindful of fire hazards at all times- this stick will catch on fire, be ready to blow the fire out and allow the smoke to go to work J

2)     Find a fireproof bowl or Paua shell (to catch the ash), light a candle (you can use a lighter if you don’t have a candle but it can get hot). Use the flame to light your wand it may take a little time to get it on fire.

3)     As soon as the stick is flaming, blow it out so it’s smouldering (smoking), but be careful not to blow ash everywhere.

4)     Start with intention, clearly stating (in your mind if you feel more comfortable) what you plan to achieve and call upon the spirits of the sacred plants to guide you (email me if you’d like help with this).

5)     Don’t rush just be in the moment thinking about your intention, the beauty of the sacred herbs and nature. Fan the smoke towards your heart then circle the wand around the top of your head, move the stick down your body, allow the smoke to move around you and towards the sky.  Move the wand stick over your arms and down your body to your toes whilst still focusing on your intention. Repeat as many times as you feel the need.

6)     Repeat this process on anyone else in the room or house if possible.

7)     Then if you wish; cleanse your space. Start in the centre of the space and move in a counter-clockwise motion, leaving a door or window open so the energy (and smoke) can escape. Repeat as many times as you see suitable. I cleanse our family home at least once a month and the individuals who come here very regularly.

Due to the size, weight or fragility of some items, a $25 shipping rate will be applied at checkout. THIS ITEM MUST BE ORDERED SEPARATE FROM OTHER ITEMS as in YOU WILL NEED TO DO TWO ORDERS. Where possible we will combine them into the same parcel, which means you would not be charged for two lots of shipping. We do have some items that are so heavy or fragile that we have made them pick-up only items. Sometimes we are able to help package them if you'd like to arrange your own carrier, but not all items are easily packaged or covered by carrier insurance, so please call us to discuss prior to placing the order.

    Orders are delivered by NZ Couriers and require a signature upon delivery. Please make sure the delivery address is where someone can sign for the delivery. If no one is home when delivery is attempted a card will be left advising the date and time of attempted delivery. One more attempt will be made to deliver your order, after that you will be required to pick it up from your nearest NZ Couriers office. Please make sure you bring ID with you when picking up the parcel, otherwise it will not be released.

    Under normal circumstances your order will be dispatched within 2 business days and arrive within a week. Please note that your order may be sent in more than one parcel.

    Dispatch and delivery days are Monday to Friday.

    Please be aware that some isolated regions may require additional delivery time. If this is the case for your area we will notify you of this prior to processing your order. We cannot deliver to Post Office Boxes or Private Boxes. We do not deliver outside New Zealand, however orders may still be placed from overseas with a New Zealand delivery address.

    CANCELLING YOUR ORDER

    If you wish to cancel your order please contact us at 06 355 4540 or michelle@inspiremeonline.co.nz as soon as possible.

    If you cancel before your order is dispatched you will receive a full refund.

    However, if the goods have already been sent to you, at the time of cancellation, you will not be able to cancel your order. You will need to follow the returns process and your shipping charges will not be refunded.
