Ruby in Zoisite Point - Passion Rooted in the Earth

Some crystals ask to be understood slowly. Ruby in zoisite is not one of them. It announces itself immediately — a vivid, almost electric combination of deep ruby red against rich forest green, shot through with occasional veins of black hornblende, each piece looking less like something pulled from the ground and more like something painted with extraordinary confidence. But behind that boldness is a stone of real depth, and a combination that crystal lovers return to again and again for good reason.

Ruby brings passion, vitality, and the kind of courage that moves things forward. Zoisite brings grounding, growth, and a deep, nurturing connection to the earth. Together in a single stone — as nature formed them, inseparable — they create something that is both energising and stabilising, both heart-opening and rooted. A ruby in zoisite point takes that combination and gives it direction, making it a beautiful and purposeful addition to any crystal collection, altar, or living space.

Some of the Healing & Metaphysical Properties

Ruby in zoisite is traditionally associated with the following properties:

  • Vitality and life force: Strongly associated with a renewed sense of energy, enthusiasm, and engagement with life — ruby in zoisite is believed to support a more vibrant and motivated approach to daily living.
  • Heart opening: Deeply connected to the heart, this combination is believed to support greater emotional openness, compassion, and the courage to give and receive love more freely.
  • Passion and courage: Ruby's fiery energy is traditionally associated with igniting passion, supporting bold action, and helping to overcome fear, self-doubt, and inertia.
  • Grounding growth: Zoisite's earthy, nurturing quality is believed to anchor ruby's more expansive energy, supporting steady, grounded personal growth rather than scattered enthusiasm.
  • Transformation: Widely regarded as a stone of profound personal transformation, ruby in zoisite is associated with supporting deep inner change — helping to release what no longer serves and step into a more authentic and empowered version of oneself.
  • Joy and positivity: Believed to carry an uplifting, life-affirming energy that supports a more joyful, open-hearted, and optimistic approach to the world.
  • Chakras and zodiac: Most strongly associated with the Heart Chakra, extending to the Root and Crown chakras — grounding heart-centred energy while supporting spiritual awareness — and traditionally associated with Aries, Leo, Scorpio, and Cancer.

How You Can Use Your Point

  • Meditation focus: Hold your point during meditation, using it to support an intention of heart-opening or courage.
  • Altar centrepiece: Place your point on an altar or intention space as a focal point for matters of the heart.
  • Pocket carry: Keep your point in a pocket or bag for a boost of vitality and courage through the day.

Ruby in zoisite, also known as anyolite, forms when ruby — a red variety of corundum coloured by trace chromium — crystallises within zoisite-rich metamorphic rock, often alongside black hornblende (commonly pargasite). Zoisite itself is a calcium aluminium silicate mineral belonging to the epidote group. Our New Zealand-wide standard shipping option including rural delivery costs a flat fee of $10. We also offer Click & Collect from the NZ Couriers Depot in Palmerston North for a flat fee of $3 - considerably less than they charge us.

Unsure of your postcode? You can check your shipping address HERE to check the suburb or town and get the postcode.

Orders are delivered by NZ Couriers and require a signature upon delivery. Please make sure the delivery address is where someone can sign for the delivery. If no one is home when delivery is attempted a card will be left advising the date and time of attempted delivery. One more attempt will be made to deliver your order, after that you will be required to pick it up from your nearest NZ Couriers office. Please make sure you bring ID with you when picking up the parcel, otherwise it will not be released.

Under normal circumstances your order will be dispatched within 2 business days and arrive within a week, often sooner. Please note that your order may be sent in more than one parcel.

Dispatch and delivery days are Monday to Friday.

Please be aware that some isolated regions may require additional delivery time. If this is the case for your area we will notify you of this prior to processing your order. We cannot deliver to Post Office Boxes or Private Boxes. We do not deliver outside New Zealand, however orders may still be placed from overseas with a New Zealand delivery address.
